CoPlus Music Community

Music business is NOT a competition, it’s a COMMUNITY. Music within communities bring about positive, long lasting and life changing experiences. Community music fortifies peer relationships, breaks down barriers between people and cultures. It enables people to take part in social activities that builds confidence, skills and breaks down loneliness and isolation.

Music is such an essential part of our lives. Your love of music is never going to go away, so stop treating it like a hobby.

Everyone who can speak can learn to use a singing voice

Think back to the last birthday party you attended. When the candles were lit, did you join everyone else in belting out the “Happy Birthday” song—or were you too self-conscious to do more than mouth the words?

Is a decent singing voice a toss of the genetic dice or can anyone learn to sing? So how does a self-proclaimed “bad singer” learn to sing?

Not everyone can sing for a living, but not everyone has to in order to benefit from the joy it brings. Stop just singing alone to the radio turned up full blast while doing chores, and experience the joy of singing 3- to 4- to 8-part harmony, either a cappella or accompanied by a piano or full orchestra.

Your Voice Matters. Be Heard.

There’s lots of people out there that believe that you have to be born with a great voice to have one, or you’re simply stuck with what you’ve got. The truth is, great voices, just like great musicians or athletes, are made. They are developed, worked on, improved, built and created.

A good vocal tone is not established by singing loudly, it’s established at medium volume. Good tone happens when vocal folds are strong enough to have a good closure but not touch.

Free your voice and step up to the spotlight. Stop waiting to be discovered and start creating success in your music dream.

Broadway isn't dying, it's thriving

We all have that voice in our head that narrates our life for us. Imagine that voice being set to music. That's how stories are told in musicals. Music is a universal language that ties us together, and the music in a show is no different.

Musical theatre fosters a social awareness through exposure to the social issues, events and cultures portrayed in the scripts. The theatre, dance and other performing arts can teach people how to express themselves effectively, and can also be a tool through which people with disabilities can communicate. Above all else, the performing arts are about being creative.

Drama demands self-discipline and self-control of its participants. Improvisation helps develop quick thinking and improves participants' problem solving abilities, shyness and makes them gradually become more confident to communicate. Being able to confidently present yourself in these types of situations is a great skill to have, because things in life do NOT always go as planned and you must improvise.

No person is an island, and no business exists in isolation

Even if your business is a purely virtual enterprise that operates solely on the Internet, it is still part of a community. You have an office or a storefront in a particular place, you buy your electricity and your water and your utilities from a particular company or government, you live and work in a particular town or city. We are all part of communities larger than ourselves, and being involved with that community is important.

Adopt the philosophy that a business is a community, and it will impact every decision you make from this day forward.

When single businesses pool their strengths and efforts together, great things can happen!

Everyone loves to be rewarded. We are the true loyalty program by the community, for the community. We started with the passion to create a supportive and friendly business network where the community grows and benefits together. Today, we want to extend this loyalty program to local dining and shopping outlets to keep the community unique, inclusive and enduring.
